What we’re looking for

One with a creative mind, who can verse with a startup enthusiastic audience. Must have past experience with building community and engaging them. Need to be brilliant with humor (as here at Pepcorns we all cherish the same). You’ll be part of the founding team creating exceptional strategies. Your voice would be heard and your opinion would matter, so better if you bring that skills.

Role Requirements:

  1. Research evolving trends in the startup landscape, develop a thesis on investment opportunities and publish research in periodic internal/external publications.
  2. Source and identify new investment opportunities within the startup ecosystem and ensure a strong and continuous pipeline of potential investment opportunities
  3. Work with the broader ecosystem, engineers, influencers, marketing/PR/dev partners, entrepreneurs, and other investors
  4. Help evaluate investment opportunities through market research, product reviews, competitive analysis, metrics analysis, customer/user reviews, and technical diligence
  5. Help monitor the progress of portfolio companies; help portfolio companies in every way possible help connect portfolio companies to the Pepcorns ecosystem
  6. Research the market and come up with ideas that go viral, and implement them with minimal resources
  7. Engage with Angels, VCs, HUF, and Fund houses to get funds for startups.
  8. Meltdown pitches into the lucrative opportunities. (number crunching)

Eligibility:

  1. You are intellectually curious and motivated by innovative ideas
  2. You have a keen desire to analyze and interpret the business models and underlying market of startups leveraging techniques like the first principle approach, root cause analysis, hypothesis generation, benchmarking, etc.
  3. You possess a strong appetite to deep dive into blogs, company filings, news articles, and industry reports from reputed & trustworthy sources to distill relevant and key findings and simultaneously develop sector expertise
  4. You are a closeted author. You can storyboard numbers to tell stories and form and express an independent opinion on sectoral developments by identifying growth drivers and challenges for the given sector
  5. You’ve either worked in market research/startup research or have a flair for secondary research
  6. Going the extra mile doesn’t bother you

Expected Salary: ₹6,000 – ₹30,000
